02 · WHO THIS IS FOR

Who this is for

  1. 01 A notary appointment or legal proceeding where one party doesn't speak Portuguese.
  2. 02 A business meeting or negotiation between EN- and PT-speaking parties.
  3. 03 A conference session needing simultaneous interpreting for an international audience.
  4. 04 A guided visit, factory tour or escort assignment requiring a liaison interpreter.
03 · HOW IT WORKS

What's included / how it works

The thing that actually goes wrong with interpreting bookings isn't wording — it's logistics. So here's the logistics, stated exactly: you book by the half-day (up to 4 hours) or full day (up to 8 hours), in consecutive mode (suited to meetings, notary appointments, smaller groups) or simultaneous mode (real-time, typically with equipment, suited to conferences; usually staffed by two interpreters per booth on a full day, priced per interpreter). We confirm the interpreter's name and a short subject-matter briefing ahead of the date, not on the day.

Consecutive: the interpreter speaks after each segment, no equipment needed. Simultaneous: real-time interpreting, usually with a booth and headsets, suited to larger audiences.

At least 10 business days for full cancellation flexibility and the widest interpreter availability.

Tell us your venue and audience size in a quote request and we'll confirm what equipment the assignment needs.

See the notice-and-fee table — more than 10 business days out, it’s free; inside 48 hours or a no-show, it’s the full fee.
