Lisbon-based, EN ↔ PT specialists.
naomitranslates works out of Lisbon, on R. Serpa Pinto, and works primarily between English and Portuguese — the pair most of what crosses our desk actually needs. Other language pairs are handled on request, not sold as evidence of a scale we don’t have.
We chose boutique deliberately: it’s what lets us name the person doing your work instead of pointing at an org chart, and it’s what makes a published price list possible in the first place.
Working style.
Being EN↔PT specialists rather than generalists means the same small group of people sees Portuguese certification requirements, contract language, technical documentation and subtitling work often enough to have a real, specific answer about how each of them actually works.
When a project needs a language pair outside that specialism, we say so plainly and either take it on request or point you elsewhere, rather than stretching a claim.
