Certification here means the translator makes a formal declaration of accuracy before a notary, lawyer or solicitador, which is attached to the translation. We handle that process for you.

Notarisation is the certification step itself — the translator's declaration made before a notary, lawyer or solicitador — and it's included in every certified package. An apostille is a separate certificate some destination countries require on top of that, authenticating the document for use abroad under the Hague Convention.

We can tell you how Portuguese certification works and whether an apostille is typically expected for a given destination, but the receiving authority makes the final call — no agency can honestly guarantee acceptance by a body it doesn't control.

You have 14 days after delivery to send it back for a free amendment if something's missing or incorrect. Certified documents that have already been notarised or apostilled can't be reissued for free once produced, since they're made to your specification.
