How it works
What happens, in order, after you send us a document.
No adjectives — just the six steps, stated plainly, so you can hold us to them.
The full six-step process.
01
Quote
You tell us the document or project; we reply with an exact price against the pricing model on this site — no hidden variables.
02
Translate
A translator working in your subject matter and language pair produces the first draft.
03
Independent revision
A second linguist — not the original translator — checks it against the source for accuracy, terminology and tone.
04
QA checklist
A final check for formatting, completeness and, for certified work, that the notarial steps are correctly attached.
05
Delivery
You receive the file — or the hard copy, if you ordered one — by the date agreed.
06
14-day amendment window
If something's missing or wrong, send it back within 14 days of delivery for a free fix.
Confidentiality and file-handling
Your files are worked on only by the translator and reviewer assigned to your project — never uploaded to a shared freelancer pool or a third-party translation-memory tool without your agreement. We'll sign your NDA on request, on top of our own confidentiality terms, which cover every project by default. Files are kept only as long as needed to deliver the work and support the 14-day amendment window, then removed.
File formats and the amendment window
We work with Word, PDF, InDesign exports (IDML), plain text, JSON/CSV for localization, and common video/audio formats for subtitling and transcription. The 14-day amendment window covers errors and omissions in what we delivered — it’s not a mechanism for reopening scope, which is a new order.
Questions about the process
A second, independent linguist — someone other than the translator who produced the first draft — checks every project before delivery. This applies to every job, not just larger orders.
Formatting matches the source, nothing is missing or duplicated, and — for certified documents specifically — that the declaration and notarial certification are correctly attached before delivery.
Attach them to your order or quote request, or send a link to a shared folder — either works. Delivery is a secure digital link by default; a certified hard copy can be added by post.
Contact us — genuine errors are still handled fairly outside the window; the free-amendment guarantee formally covers the 14 days after delivery.
